Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman (American gymnast) was a member of the team and the team captain for the Fierce Five in 2012 and the 2015 Final Five US Women Olympic Gymnastics. Aly Raisman is a gymnast from the United States who won gold at the 2012 Olympics. This made her the Olympics gymnast with the highest number of medals. In the 2016, Olympics she was awarded an Olympic gold medal for the team event, which gave her along with co-teammate Gabby Douglas the distinction of having being among the few Americans to have two consecutive gold medals for the team. In addition, she won two silver medals, one for the floor and for the individual all-around. After the second Olympics the gymnast was off for three years from gymnastics. She also was part of gold-winning American squads at two World Championships. As a young girl when she started to study gymnastics. The sport she loves the most is floor exercises. Aly is an active member and member of Uniting Against Lung Cancer organisation to honor her mother, who passed away from cancer. She plans to pursue a career in fashion and hopes to broaden her signature line of leotards as well as socks in the future. She is writing a book entitled Fierce that will be released later this year.
