 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American actor, comedian and activist After moving to America, she was born in Soviet Union to Jewish parents. Her first professional work was as an actress in her early years as a child. She is best known for her appearances in AT&T television commercials. In these commercials, she was Lily Adams (2013 to 2016) and 2020 (since 2020 (since). She was a regular host of the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She also played the role of a regular character in the NBC drama This Is Us (2016)-2017. Vayntrub was also part of the cast as Squirrelgirl on Marvel Rising in 2018 following her role in the pilot TV series New Warriors. Vayntrub is a Jewish person, was born in Tashkent (Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic), USSR. She and her parents were exiled from antisemitism by the age of two. They settled in West Hollywood. Due to financial hardships within the family, she started performing in Mattel Barbie commercials when she was five years old. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. She dropped out of school following her sophomore year. She earned an GED and then was able to earn a Bachelor of Arts (Communication) from University of California San Diego. She studied improv comedy with the Upright Citizens Brigade.
